Melissa and Joan Rivers Melissa Rivers has paid a touching tribute to her mum Joan yesterday for Thanksgiving, posting a heart-warming photo of the pair laughing together.
Fashion Police host Joan passed away in September, following complications in throat surgery, and Melissa has posted a near constant stream of childhood photos since for her fans to remember her as she would like.
Her latest snap came as Melissa revealed she had finally worked out her mum’s password, no doubt unlocking many more memories.
Melissa wrote: “I finally figured out my mom’s password HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Xo Melissa." It comes after Melissa revealed she wouldn’t be filing a lawsuit over her mother’s death for the money - saying she simply wants answers.
According to E! News, Melissa is in the early stages of taking legal action against the Yorkville Endoscopy on Manhattan's Upper East Side, where her mother suffered cardiac arrest - but she is not looking for financial gain.
A source said: "It's not about the money. For Melissa, this is about getting an answer about why this happened and making sure it never happens again. The only way to get these answers is to file a lawsuit. Melissa wants answers - not money."
